Fall Turkish Language Lessons begin the week of November 6 - Register Now!

Interested in studying Turkish? Winter Turkish classes coordinated by TACAWA are being offered in Seattle and Bellevue at the beginner and intermediate levels! In addition to providing language education, this experienced team of teachers - comprised of Derya Sunkel, Selma Nadir, and Ferdi Nadir - also offers cultural information on Turkey in English at the end of their lessons.

The fall quarter will begin the week of November 6th, and will run for 5 weeks at a price of $210.

Textbooks are brought directly from Turkey, and are available for purchase from the instructor on the first day of class for $20.

To register, please send an email to classes@tacawa.org with "Turkish Class Registration" in the subject line, stating your preferred class level and meeting location (Bellevue or Seattle). Class payment directly to the teachers (via cash or check) and registration forms will be completed in person on the first day of class.

SEATTLE CLASS SCHEDULE:

-Beginner/Intermediate Beginner Turkish will meet once a week on Wednesday evenings for 5 weeks beginning the week of November 6th. Classes will be held on the University of Washington campus. Room and exact time TBA.

-Advanced Beginner/Novice Intermediate Turkish will meet once a week on Saturday mornings, for 5 weeks beginning the week of November 6th. Classes will be held on the University of Washington campus. Room and exact time TBA.

BELLEVUE CLASS SCHEDULE:

-Beginner/Intermediate Beginner Turkish will meet once a week on Tuesday evenings, for 5 weeks beginning the week of November 6th. Classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the conference room of Starbucks located at 626 NE 106th St. in Bellevue, next to Barnes and Noble.

-Advanced Beginner/Novice Intermediate Turkish will meet once a week on Thursday evenings, for 5 weeks beginning the week of November 6th. Classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the conference room of Starbucks located at 626 NE 106th St. in Bellevue, next to Barnes and Noble.
