May 19th Remembrance of Ataturk, Youth and Sports Day Celebration

The annual May 19th picnic and Ataturk bike ride is back! Rain or shine, please join us on Sunday, May 31st at Lake Sammamish State Park for a day full of fun.

The picnic will start with a bike ride around Lake Sammamish. All participants should register for this bike ride by emailing their names, ages, addresses and contact information to info@tacawa.org. Please note that children younger than 16 participating in the ride need to be accompanied by adults. Please see below for a list of bike rental shops near Lake Sammamish State Park.

The day will continue with a backgammon tournament. We have a limited number of backgammon sets so please register for the tournament now by emailing info@tacawa.org and let us know if you are going to be bringing your own backgammon set.

There will be hula hoops, jumping ropes and good conversation. Don't forget to bring your soccer or volleyball!

TACAWA will be selling Turkish meatball sandwiches, fruit and drinks. Members will get discounts on all prices! Additionally, you are welcome to provide your own food & drinks.
