Turkish Classical Music Concert: The Breeze of Mevlevi

Presented by the Mevlevi Order of America, this concert will feature classical dervish music by Timucin Cevikoglu, as well as inspirational turning by the Mevlevi Order of America Ensemble and Whirling Dervishes in the tradition of the Sufi poet Mevlana Celaladdin Rumi.

Timucin Cevikoglu is a master of the ney (reed flute), kudum (Turkish kettle drums) and vocals, a Ph.D. of Musical Sciences, author, composer, multi-media recording artist, teacher and Mevlevi dervish.
