It's that time of the year again! TACAWA has reached the end of yet another successful term, and it's time to elect a new Executive Board for 2010-2011. The elections will be held during a pot luck gathering on Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at 1:30PM at Kirkland Woman's Club.
We would like to take this opportunity to present a report of the past year's activities, receive feedback on our performance, and listen to wishes for the next year.
Famous Turkish novelist Ms. Elif Safak will be promoting her new novel "Ask" that was recently translated to English under the title of “The Forty Rules of Love" at Elliott Bay bookstore on March 8th. Don't miss the chance to hear about Elif Safak's new book from the author herself and have your copy signed.
Please try to arrive by 6:45PM. The talk will start at 7PM, followed by a Q&A session and Book Signing.
