Evren Artiran, an internationally recognized artist and University of Washington graduate student, will be featuring her latest work in an exhibit titled “Naturalized Dialogues” at the Sandpoint Gallery in Magnuson Park.
The opening reception will be held Wednesday, May 12th, from 5:30 to 9 pm, and the exhibition will run through Saturday, May 15th.
On the opening night, Evren will give a 5 minute performance as part of the whole exhibition. The performance, titled “Unnatural Distribution,” will loop every 20 minutes, at 5:55 pm, 6:20 pm, and 6:45 pm, for a total of 3 times.

The Anadolu Turkish Folk Dancers will be back on the International Dance Stage at Seattle Center's annual Folklife Festival on Sunday, May 30, 2010, 2:20 - 2:50pm. They will be performing very lively authentic dances from Gaziantep (adults & youth), Edirne (adults), Trabzon (adults), Istanbul (adult-solo), the Caucasus (youth) and Georgia (adults).
The International Stage is located in the Exhibition Hall, between McCaw Hall & Intiman Theatre on Mercer Street, north of the Seattle Center campus.
The internationally acclaimed alternative rock musician Yakup Trana (www.yakuptrana.com) will be performing on Thursday, June 3rd at 9 pm at the High Dive (www.highdiveseattle.com).
