The Pacific Jazz Institute at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley presents pianist and composer Fahir Atakoglu for two nights, touring in support of his latest release "Faces and Places." On Tuesday, August 31st, TACAWA and the Turkish Studies Student Association at the University of Washington are honored to host Mr. Ethem Yenigun, a former staff member of the Turkish think tank TESEV and an expert on migration and socioeconomic development in Southeast Anatolia. Mr. Yenigun will present research and lead a roundtable discussion on this topic, as well as discuss Turkey’s EU accession process.
